J-Sweet’s musical ties go back long before the emergence of 828 Productions his music production company of 9 years. Born and raised in Miami, J-Sweet grew up in the church and has been playing piano, drums, and bass since he was 10 years old.
With a deep devotion to the piano J-Sweet has played for artists such as Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin, released his own CD, and traveled extensively both in and out of the country as a musical director. Working in the studio with Cash Money Records and Black Baby Records J-Sweet continued to develop musically. J-Sweet was Featured on MTV's Making His Band as a keyboardist. Now he finds comfort in the studio, at center stage behind the mic, or behind the piano. J-Sweet has produced music for artist like Bobby Valentino, Tynisha Keli, Tina Parol, Recognition and many others. Today J-Sweet is sought after musical director, writer, producer and artist.
2011 has marked another great year of accomplishment! J-Sweet produced the solo debut album of Jazz Saxaphonist Janardo Laporte (Searchin’). His album, Slice of Life, is set to be released summer 2011.
