About this Artist
Perennials formed sometime after the Y2K turn of the century millennium shift, August 2000. Fronted by the eclectic guitarist /songwriter Chris Wilson and anchored by bassist Frank Segedi from the defunked Crimson Jimson band, a synergy was cast and a path was laid. Rounded out by Chris's original drummer from the "UnderPopularity" band and newly added vocal/percussionist Monica Morgan, the goal was to create some original, great and undeniable music. The band has lived up to their name returning every year, garnering 8 Albums and logging 300 songs. This year 2012, the band releases Wire-cutters, a side step from the norm, it embraces their influences proudly and showcases the more experimental side of songwriter Wilson. After winning the HMA, Rock Recording of the year for their Album "Alien-sphere," the band is more focused than ever, honing their live show, production and musical chops. Reforming this year with Monica Wilson on drums and Pete Grove on bass guitar, Perennials promise their best is yet to come, with plans to release their most adventurous effort to date in 2013. Drawing from their influences, experience and forged musical relationships in this ever-changing new musical landscape, Perennials plan to up the anti again..
