Local Music Vibe

Roy is a joyful player of most things stringed and his joy is infectious. Blues Matters! magazine describes his music as "..a beguiling and tasty stew of blues, country, folk and Americana." Schneider has twice been a finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival's Grassy Hill New Folk competition. With fan funding he released a new CD in September 2012 which debuted at #3 on the Folk DJ charts. Roy will be touring in support of "Walls That Talk" for much of 2013 accompanied by his wife and musical partner, Kim Mayfield.
