Here are their responses to my tough questions, enjoy:
1. Where did you guys get the idea for the name of your band?
We honestly just sat down and sent texts of band names our freshman year of high school and came up with it :)
2. Where do you guys get your inspiration for your music?
Music in general, just make music a meaningful thing. Some of us just sit in class and think or a cool riff or something and then write it down. We then show up to next practice with it.
3. How has music changed your life?
Wade: I have had the chance to live my dream with five of my all time best friends, can't ask for much more :)
Alex: It has helped me figure out who I am and what life means to me.
Frankie: Makes all my hard work of 7 years of school band worth it. I love this band <3.
Austin: It gives me a purposeful goal and a chance to express myself in a way that is not possible without an ax in my hands.
4. If you could tour with any band, who would it be and why?
Katy Perry, because she is just so damn hott!!!. Probably Underoath if they were still going to be around... As you can tell we are heavily influenced by them and it would be great to have the student share the stage with the teacher.
5. If you guys could describe your band in one word, what would it be and why?
FUN because whether you are a band member or a fan, the experience in itself should be fun. The instant you lose the fun it becomes worthless.
