(NOVEMBER 15, 2012 – SAN RAFAEL, Calif.) — A New Year’s Eve celebration made EASY & FUNNY, stress-free and fabulous in beautiful Marin! The 3rd Annual Stand-Up Comedy Celebration, for adults of all ages will be an evening filled with laughter and fun. A perfect show for New Year’s Eve, set to fit anyone’s lifestyle… with time to enjoy an early dinner somewhere before a great comedy show, then either stick around with the comics for the countdown & champagne or head out to wherever you need to be at midnight!
This years New Year’s Eve show is a very special night of comedy with two legitimate and national headliners. MARK CORDES tore the house down with a guest set last year, and so we are bringing him back for his full show. Billing himself as “The Spouse Whisperer”, he weaves hilarious relationship advice for all. Joining the show is BIL DWYER a finalist in the NBC show Last Comic Standing and a headliner throughout the nation, as well as local favorite Michael Meehan, with his unique look at the world and sense of the absurd.

Mark Cordes has been hailed by many critics as a "One Man Laugh Factory."
His television credits include "Comic Strip Live," "Caroline’s Comedy Hour" and "An Evening at the Improv."
From his humble start at an open mic, he steadily worked his way up the comedy ladder. From the opening act to feature act to headlining the top comedy clubs and corporate events from coast to coast, Cordes has enjoyed the ride. BIL DWYER is an accomplished standup comic whose resume also includes acting, hosting and writing. His hip and sardonic takes on marriage, kids and family have been showcased in the half-hour comedy special "Comedy Central Presents: Bil Dwyer," as well as on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "The Martin Short Show," NBC's "Late Friday," "Evening at the Improv" and "Caroline's Comedy Hour."
About the Other Café

The Other Café, the legendary Haight-Ashbury comedy club, is a San Francisco establishment. Founded in 1977, The Other Café -- along with the Punchline, Cobb's and the Holy City Zoo -- was one of four full-time comedy clubs operating in San Francisco alone with comics such as Dana Carvey, Bob Sarlatte, Bobby Slayton, Michael Pritchard, Jane Dornacker, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Henny Youngman, Howie Mandel, Gallagher, Brit Jasper Carrott, and pioneer lesbian comic Robin Tyler.
