Under the spirited direction of Occidental’s own Sarah Saulsbury, the Occidental Community Choir will once again mark the advent of the winter season with “Around This Table,” a celebration of the season that rejoices in the many ways in which the dark months of the year bring us together to share food, stories, songs, and laughter.
The OCC’s 2012 winter concert series opens the choir’s 35th year. It will be the first concert series in which all five concerts will be offered exclusively at the choir’s home venue, the Occidental Center for the Arts in Occidental.
The opening weekend will feature three shows, with evening performances on Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1, and a Sunday, December 2 matinee.
The second and final weekend will include two shows: an evening performance Saturday, December 8 and a closing matinee on Sunday, December 9.
Evening performances begin at 8:00 p.m. while the matinee performances begin at 3:00 p.m
