Having already created a buzz in his native Britain with his U.K. No. 1 album Contrast, 19-year-old singer-songwriter Conor Maynard is taking off in America with his hit U.S. singles “Vegas Girl” and “Turn Around” feat. Ne-Yo. In 2008, Conor became a Youtube sensation racking up millions of views from covering his favorite songs and building a fanbase of 'Mayniacs' around the world. Ne-Yo was so impressed with Conor’s soulful voice he offered to sign and produce him. They collaborated on his latest Pop hit 'Turn Around'. His debut album Contrast - a genre-defying blend of innovative R&B, dramatic hip-hop soundscapes, and stadium-scaling pop anthems - features songs produced by heavy-hitters like Midi Mafia (Frank Ocean), The Invisible Men, Stargate, and Benny Blanco and collaborations with Rita Ora and Pharrell who predicted: “He is going to change the future of pop music.” Contrast is due from Capitol Records on January 8, 2013.
