Time to light it up, burn it off, and let it go. Out with the old, in with the OM. You ready?

Join Yoga Flow’s own Mark Morford and groovelicious DJ Eric Monkhouse for a night of delicious Vinyasa yoga, sweat, music, release and celebration as we welcome in the new year right. And by “right” we mean, of course, partially naked and occasionally upside down.

It’s a two-hour prayer in motion. It’s a deep breath of gratitude. It’s a big, open-throated yoga practice/party, a blessing set to music, open to all levels (absolute beginners, please check with us first), as we set some deep intention for the coming year. Got something you’ve been clinging onto a bit too tightly? Something clinging on to you? Ready to expunge and make some room for the divine to expand? Come on in.

There will be great music. There will be vigorous asana. There will be fire and lasers and a giant water slide featuring bioluminescent unicorns dancing on the heads of angels (permits pending). Either way, it’s sure to be a night to remember. Would love to see you there!

Mark Morford (ERYT-500) has been practicing a hotly energized style of Vinyasa yoga since 1997, and teaching classes, workshops and retreats since 2000. He’s also an award-winning columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com, and author of 'The Daring Spectacle: Adventures in Deviant Journalism,' the creator of the 'Yoga for Writers' series of workshops, “Mark Morford’s APOTHECARY” iPhone app, and two new yoga-related book projects. And beyond.

If music is the Universal language then London native, Eric Monkhouse is surely multilingual. It is this universal appeal that has allowed Eric to speak to so many people without ever having to say a word. His ability to capture sounds and emit them so expressively is a gift. Music has always been a priority in Eric’s life; anyone who witnesses him gracing the decks can attest to this. Eric can turn a careful observer into a delirious dancer through the raw emotion and passion in his music. Music is a language; it is a means of connectivity, intimacy and communication and Eric has brilliantly captured and shared this with his fans.
